When we were in San Francisco, I was lucky enough to get some of my Aunt Seiko’s cooking. Ever since I was a little girl, I have lived for her food. Anyway, this was the first of… let’s just say a couple of plates of food that I ate that day. I asked her to send me her recipes so I could paleo-fy them (minus the sugar). Tonight, we had this delicious Chinese chicken salad now we have a new staple.
Someone told me to take it one day at a time, so that is what I’ve been doing. My alarm goes off. I get out of bed. I workout. I carry on with my day. (Don’t tell high school Kathleen that she will go to bed at 9:30 at the height of her partying years.) I log my workouts in my tracker spreadsheet when I get to work. I’ve had it set to a large font, so not all months fit on the page at once. But today, I zoomed out so I could see the whole year, and for the first time, I thought “Good. I have plenty of time to hit my goals.”
