Plop down that water bottle, unfurl your yoga mat, and breathe in the fresh spring air. (Ok, maybe don’t breathe too deeply because, you know, pollen.) What better way to celebrate the gorgeous weather than to do your sun salutations while getting some actual sun? To hook you up, we compiled a list of Atlanta yoga classes offered in the great outdoors. Now, get outside and Namaste!

Sweet Escape Yoga regularly holds classes at area parks throughout Atlanta. The next one is this Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m. at Tanyard Creek Park. There’s no set class fee, but the instructor does take cash donations at the end of the session.

Your favorite local proprietors of icy treats, King of Pops, have taken to regularly hosting yoga at Old Fourth Ward Skate Park. To sweeten the deal… it’s free! Like their Facebook page for details on upcoming classes. The next one is on the books for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14.

Warm weather means Wellness Wednesdays are back at Atlantic Station. Exhale Spa hosts a free class that’s a combination of core work and yoga every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in Central Park.

Hiking plus yoga? Yes, please! Join our friends from the Atlanta BeltLine for a free Trail Yoga class that builds strength, flexibility, and endurance. Through June, sessions are offered at two different BeltLine park locations at 6 p.m. On Mondays, meet at Piedmont Park near Park Tavern. On Wednesdays get stretchy at Tanyard Creek Park. Find all the details and register on the BeltLine Events page.

If you want to make your Gumby sessions into a bigger deal, check out these upcoming yoga-centric festivals and events right here in the ATL:
