Starwater Yoga Mats
Starwater Yoga Mats might be a bit pricier than their plain Jane competitors, but just look at them, will ya? Created by artist Jamila Starwater Tazewell and inspired by 11 years of collaging vintage images and photographs, these mats are designed to help you transcend your dull yoga space. To do that, the designs take you to “Venus and her magnetic blooming presence of love and beauty on Earth,” to the Himalayan Mountains, or to”the realms of the blue ethers and beyond.”
Tory Burch Fitbit Accessories
Fitness trackers are useful, but they can look so darned daggy, right? Not anymore. Tory Burch (yes, that Tory Burch) has collaborated with Fitbit to create a line of jewelry that will turn your tracker from an eyesore into a piece of eye-catching bling. Available in rose gold, gold, and “Tory silver,” the pendants and bracelets are as beautiful as they are functional.
Price: $195 (bracelet) or $175 (pendant)
Going for a run on a cold day is exhilarating, but coming back with hat hair right before a meeting is not. Rejoice! This adorable hat has two openings for your choice of low or medium-high ponytail. Better yet, they’re disguised in the knit so you can sport it when your hair is down too. Versatility at its best. It’s fleece-lined to keep your ears toasty and your hair in check. It comes in four colors: blue, cream, dark gray (pictured), and neon yellow for added safety during night runs.
British fashion designer Stella McCartney has been collaborating with Adidas for 10 years, expertly merging the glamorous with the sporty. Her latest shoe design comes in several colors, including this pink and white version, a champagne color, and pure white. The light-weight, breathable shoe looks so good, you could wear it long after your workout has ended. One warning: Several reviewers suggest that this shoe runs a little large.
Price: $99.95 – $125
Okay, so this isn’t your average gym bag, but that’s the point. After all, who wants typical when you can be terrific? It’s still fashion-forward and still big enough to fit all of your gym essentials and even has pockets big enough for your water bottle on the outside. There is, of course, a Marc Jacobs enameled logo plate on the front as well as a three-pocket interior, logo topstitching, and double handles. Faaaaabulous!
