Monday, August 24

It’s Try Us Out Week at Boot Camp 4 A Cause, the local fitness program that donates 100 percent of its proceeds to local causes. Meet at 5:45 a.m. at Piedmont Park to try it  for free.

Tuesday, August 25

Need to get in a workout but don’t have anyplace to stash the kiddos while you do? FitWit Kids kicks off August 25. Enroll your 6- to 12-year-old in this workout class and then catch a Studio class next door. Prices start at $99 for one session per week for eight weeks. Wednesday, August 26

Celebrate your inner goddess at Highland Yoga’s first ever Goddess Night at 7:30 p.m. It features a special yoga class, sparkling drinks, skincare, cosmetics, and more!

Thursday, August 27

The annual Beltline Parade is coming up, so get your glow-y orb ready at the adults only Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade Workshop at Ponce City Market starting at 6:30 p.m. Registration is $25 and includes all the supplies you’ll need to create your own work of art. Plus, it’s BYOB!

Friday, August 28

Let go of the week with a 6 p.m. Karma Class yoga at Tough Love Yoga. Proceeds from the $5 class go to the Atlanta Doberman Rescue, so please bring cash or check.

Saturday, August 29

It’s August in ATL. Any 5K that finish with a spray-down from a fire hose doesn’t sound like a bad idea. Run the FirEd Up 5K at 8:30 a.m., help fund scholarships for local school kids, and get a tour of Atlanta Fire Station 19. Registration is $25.

Sunday, August 30

Wake up your weekend with 9:30 a.m. Body Shock Circuit Training at Dance 101. Buy a single class card for $25.
