Feel that inner-thigh burn with a class at Pure Barre Virginia Highlands. A single class is $23 with morning, midday, and evening options available. New clients can try a month of unlimited classes for $99.

The 10th Annual Big Peach 5K Run/Walk for Blood Cancer is coming up on April 25 and to celebrate, they’re taking over the patio at Noche in Brookhaven from 6 to 8 p.m. for a kickoff party. One dollar from every drink purchased will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Wednesday, April 1

Support a great cause while drinking beer! Sweetwater Brewery and Georgia Organics host Beneficial Brews from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. The $10 admission includes a pint glass, beer samples, and special giveaways.

Cardio and strength work? We’re there! Hit up Urban Perform’s 7 p.m. kickboxing class for a mashup of punches, kicks, cardio drills, and body weight movements. It’s $2 per class or $15 for a month for unlimited classes at this unique nonprofit gym.

Friday, April 3

Stretch it out with your partner at Highland Yoga’s Couples Night taught by Todd Delaune from 7:15 until 9:15 p.m. The $60 per couple class fee also includes wine and chocolate!

Break in that new pair of gardening gloves at The Homestead Atlanta’s Hugelkultur workshop. Learn about this water-conserving European gardening technique from 2 to 5 p.m. Registration is $45. Georgia Organics members receive a $15 discount.

Sunday, April 5

It’s springtime in the city. See what’s in bloom at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Tickets are $18.95 for adults, $12.95 for children ages 3 to 12, and free for kiddos under 3. On April 4 and 5, catch the Orchid Market with vendors selling live orchids, supplies, art, jewelry, and more.
