Your Week in Wellness: September 14 – 20, 2015

Monday, September 14

Give your body the self-care it needs. Tough Love Yoga offers Maintenance Mondays at 7 p.m. — an hour and a half of work on the muscles and connective tissues that tend to become tight. Drop in for $10.

Tuesday, September 15

Get in some miles and meet new folks at REI’s Run Club Atlanta. Meet at 5:30 p.m. at Grant Park Coffeehouse, and be sure to register early for this free class, as space is limited.

Wednesday, September 16

Pink Barre Emory Point is offering a free community class in Deepdene Park at 9:45 a.m. Bring a yoga mat and water. Be sure to register for a spot.

Really, really into planning the urban farm of the future? Learn lots more at the Atlanta Agritecture Workshop 2015, starting Friday and going through the weekend. The Georgia Tech School of Architecture and the Associate for Vertical Farming has partnered with the City of Atlanta for this unique educational experience.

Saturday, September 19

Trees Atlanta is expanding their leafy good works. Check out the Family TreeHouse Grand Opening from 9 a.m. to noon. It’s free!

Sunday, September 20

How about a whole afternoon of sports, fitness, arts, health education, and fun? Join Play Day on the BeltLine at Washington Park from 1 to 5 p.m. It’s free, but be sure to register.
