Monday, September 28

What’s for dinner? Salad! Get the know-how to make satisfying salad dinners at Sur La Table’s Spectacular Salads for Supper class, 11am to 1pm. Registration is $69.

Tuesday, September 29

Do your best Jane Fonda impression at the Beltline’s Aerobics Class hosted by Young at Heart Fitness. Meet at Historic Fourth Ward Park from 6 to 7pm. It’s free, just be sure to register.

Wednesday, September 30

Get a great workout and try a new sport without sinking money into the gear first at REI’s Learn to Stand Up Paddleboard Class at the Chattahoochee Nature Center from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Registration is $90 and REI members get a $20 discount. Class size is limited, so sign up soon!

Thursday, October 1

Dance + Strength Training + Serious Calorie Burn = Dance 101’s Press Play dance fitness class, 6:30 to 7:30pm. Drop in for $25. New students can purchase a 4-class card for $60, good for 30 days from the first use.

Friday, October 2

Blast off your fitness routine at Spinergy Pop Up Fitness at the Piedmont Park Conservancy. Bring a towel, water, and be ready to move it at 9:30am. Drop in for $20 and PPC members receive a 20% discount.

Saturday, October 3

Join The Homestead Atlanta and Anne-Marie Anderson (aka The Celtic Gardner) for a crash course on maintaining your own personal coop at the Chickens are Easy: Chickens 101 Workshop. The urban farming insight begins at 10am. Registration is $20 and Georgia Organics members receive a $10 discount.

Sunday, October 4

Atlanta’s Wanderlust 108 Festival offers a new kind of triathlon- a 5K run, followed by yoga and guided meditation. And you don’t even have to wear those funny spandex bicycle shorts (unless you want to)! Your $60 registration also includes access to live music, local food and craft vendors, and all kinds of other activities. The event runs from 9:30am to 5pm in Piedmont Park.


Gamble for a good cause at Urban Perform’s 4th Annual Casino Night and Silent Auction. Proceeds from ticket sales – $55 for an individual or $105 for couples – provide fitness programming in Atlanta’s fitness deserts. It’ll be a good time… you can bet on it!
